What pieces do you take on consignment?
While we want to help you sell your piece, we need to be particular and accept only what we think has a chance of selling. We are a 3-person online business (no storefront) so we do our best to showcase your item with what we have but consider that it may get more attention in a physical store.
If your item sells, we will reach out to you but if someone simply asks about your piece, we are not going to tell you that as it could get your hopes up only to be a letdown. Sometimes a piece gets tons of attention and does not sell so imagine if we were to tell someone, yes, your item is getting a lot of attention, and they are anticipating the sale of it and then it doesn't happen?
You do not need to reach out to us about the piece after it has arrived unless you desire to lower the price.
100% unpredictable as we have seen some things sell within a week and other things sit here forever. If it does not sell in one year, we must send it back to you. Most people want to make their own ring. In most scenarios, we are going to advise you to send us the diamond loose, in other scenarios, it would be better if it stays in the ring/mountings.
IF you would like us to put your item on sale at a lower price, simply let us know and we will do adjust the price and promote it on social media again. We agree to post it once on our social media channels when it arrives. This includes YouTube, Instagram and Facebook. We do not re-post it again (unless you have us promote the lowered price) however you are free to re-post it on your social media as much as you would like.
Keep in mind that we do not charge a consignment fee like most websites do.
If you are going to sell it through another website, you cannot use the media that we have provided.
*Note: Once we add your consignment piece to our website it will get listed under "Estate Jewelry" if it is mounted. It will also be listed under our in-stock diamonds according to whatever shape/cut it is.
